Similar issues here, other than loss of sound, even with the majority of the systems turned down to minimum sensitivity. I've had mine since November and there's been no sign of any solutions from Porsche for what are well known issues to UK market cars.
If I'd have had as many near collisions...
For anyone who has left their vehicle for what is a relatively short space of time (say a 2 week holiday) only to find the 12v battery has gone flat even though your car has been on the mains charger... (Mostly a Taycan issue but some Macan owners have reported the same, so I thought I'd share...
I got a RF keyring (which I was far too excited about having nearly purchased one the evening before picking up the car - gadget geek), a bottle of sparkling wine from the local English vineyard, and a voucher for two people for a wine tasting at the same vineyard. The keyring has since been...
Silverstone is a whole lot of fun in the Turbo! Wait until you try launch control and an immediate hard break. My instructor on the day said that surprisingly few women take up the invite to the track - I had a blast! There's little point buying such a capable car if you're only going to...
I can't confirm, as I didn't bother with HUD on my Macan due to the lack of integration with Google Maps navigation, but on my husban's Taycan you can adjust the height of the HUD display. Due to our height difference and seating positions I have to adjust it higher when I want to use it. The...
Welcome to the world of not so intelligent cruise control. It's a long standing issue (I picked my car up mid-November and have had the issue from the start). As others have rightly said - Porsche are aware of it and are supposedly working on it, but don't hold your breath. It's frustrating...
As others have said - it's a Taycan. A quick google pops up with better images. As an aside - what on earth is she doing with her seating position?? lol https://images.app.goo.gl/ceBYRFAsTAnd2Rjn7
No apology needed - it’s not your job to act on Porsche’s behalf, so thank you for passing on the info ? I think their to do list is somewhat overflowing with your issues and a multitude of others. I’ve not bothered logging it with my dealer until I hear (most likely from this forum) that a fix...
I’d rather just set not have to drive for an hour or more in a state of high alert as to whether or not I’m about to be crushed by a lorry. It would be like a scene from Final Destination where I’m fated to be killed off by my Porsche at some point, no matter how many times I try to dodge fate ???
I think that’s why you haven’t had any issues with it.
Two frequent journeys I do:
M6 both north and south (I live in the midlands and my sister lives down south, and we frequently explore the country staring off on the motorways). It’s a smart motorway, so the speed limit changes in various...
I'd say I'm a 2.5. It's a lovely car, but one of the main functions I utilise on my vehicles is the intelligent cruise control/innodrive, which is completely useless on the Porsche. I've had to turn off traffic sign recognition and go back to 'old fashioned' cruise control. Complete first...
I feel your pain - I have gone from being able to perfectly reverse park my previous longer and wider e-Tron sportback, to looking like a learner driver reversing the Macan lol The RWS has made such a difference. It's also much tighter on the Macan than the Taycan, which my husband realised...
My husband had already told me he plans to swap his Taycan Turbo S for the Boxter once it's out (he has always been a convertible fan). I'd originally put claim to having the Taycan off him as my Audi e-tron was ageing, but then the Macan was launched and he very kindly told me to order one of...
It's the polite way of telling you you need to clean your car lol Or at least, the sensors. You need to get used to it as a 'winter hobby' unfortunately. All of the rain water and road salt cover them very quickly. Be glad that there are only 5 sensors on the Macan (which I think is a huge...
I had exactly the same query when agreeing my final spec in July last year (I took delivery in November) and ended up adding the Porsche puddle lights, as I wanted some form of under door lighting and no one was sure at that time whether there would be non-branded lights, or nothing at all...
I've had the same issue a few times. I'm now wondering if it only occurs when I've reversed then turned the car off to put it into park, rather than putting it into park then exiting the vehicle to turn the car off, which would make sense I guess as the car hasn't had a standard prompt to say...
The design idea is that you put your phone inside and close the hatch, to enable it to chill the phone without chilling you or the cabin (and to maintain a cool temperature completely around the phone), so I find that a light would be fairly redundant. If there is only your phone that goes in...
It should work as auto rain sensors in position one of the stalk, which is marked as intermittent (I at first thought there was no auto option after seeing it described as that rather than auto - thankfully I realised when driving the other half's Taycan in the rain). If it's not working in...
