Total garbage - just finishing a European road trip in a Macan EV Turbo - it’s a perfect vehicle. Performance, comfort, driving enjoyment, luggage capacity, road presence, style and design.
Just drove down from Calais to French Riviera - My Porsche route planning app worked perfectly. There were only 2 issues: 1) the actual location of the EV charging bays on the main routes can be challenging- on one occasion we missed the route in was totally obscured and signposting was...
Both flaps on my Turbo were out of kilter at handover. I said it needed attention and they took it round to service. 3 adjusters got each flap fully aligned. Why they didn’t do it during PDI 🤷🏻‍♂️ and they told me it was a common issue.
I had 2 Workshop Campaign recalls actioned on my March 2025 Turbo EV last week - WSD0: Multicontrol unit software update campaign and WSJ2 Rear gearbox wiring loom bracket replacement.
Same with mine. I indicated that I was not happy about the fit of both flaps during handover. The car was taken back into the service area and reappeared 20 mins later with a 95% improvement after the 3 locating points on each flap were adjusted. It's not perfect, and I agree that it should be...
UK dealer supplied 2 smartkeys, 2 glove box/emergency keys and 2 fobs - that seems standard. I added this Porsche Charging service RFID fob, with the ice blue stitching that coincidentally matches the front/rear blue LED detailing I optioned in the build - looks good and works...
Loving every minute of the Macan EV Turbo - 3 weeks in and still smiling! Only one item of any significance to report and that is the intermittent failure to correctly display "70 mph" on the instrument screen and Porsche map functions on dual carriageways - it shows "60 mph" and issues the...
I think there is a misunderstanding here - I am not aware of any facility to moderate the lane change assistance function - it's either on (default) or off (by driver selection on each new journey). I'm happy to be corrected on this if I've miss-spoken.
Seems like a strange dealer request in isolation, unless others have had similar ??‍♂️. Perhaps they are doing some work on another Turbo and need a reference to check which wires go where?
This emergency braking assistance (EBA) issue seems to be an across-brands issue since EBA/AEB became a requirement in all new cars sold from May 2022 (EU). I have driven 3 different brand cars since that date and experienced unexpected/unnecessary automatic brake-slamming in all 3 - fortunately...
The "no OTA capability" seems to conflict with comments on Porsche dealers websites - see https://www.porschenorthscottsdale.com/blogs/4011/porsche-electric-model-maintenance-tips/ - but I haven't checked it back to Porsche original content so its not definitive
Is this a real Porsche-sourced report or a hack trying to stir up and fuel some anti-electric propaganda? If Porsche are now signaling they’re back-pedaling on electric, it will collapse the value of Macan EVs? Perhaps time to cancel my order …
An update - the dealer came back with a -10% offer, so now ÂŁ1,162. In the meantime I've been considering the options, helped by the comments above - thanks for these. So... I could have a fitter move my Nextbase 622GW units from my ICE Turbo to my EV Turbo (awaiting an on-the-driveway quote for...
Rip off indeed - when you're paying close to ÂŁ110k for the car and they want to gouge a 3 times Porsche buyer for fitting a couple of pre-wired web cams at PDI, I think they are risking their customer loyalty. The emailed response to my suggestion that they might like to re-consider their...
