Yep its definitely worth considering, annoying and controversial as it is I still think the Offroad 21s look better than the Spydersā¦i know thats against the Porsche way! š
Appreciate the input here.
Yes I configured every model exactly as I would want it, the 4s & GTS is only a small amount difference- hence my post. The 4 is by far the worst option for in terms of price against the others and from my research the range is either the same or marginally better...
Yeh im likely going for boring black but adding blue seatbelts to give it something interesting. I also considered red but that would of been a wild āsupermanā choice against blue in most peopleās opinions
Yeh racetex is a big cost and would a pain to maintain for arguably most people who buy a car in this segment (with kids or dogs)
The racetex stitching to match the blue or red exterior looks lovely though but not for an extra £4600.
Yeh noted - its a 3 year lease but i like to keep my cars perfect! Lol
Ive seen pics of a Guards red macan ev and looks amazing. I actually considered PTS until they introduced these 2 new colours.
Yep i had exactly the same thoughts when seeing that video, its the only video I have found (other than the promotional one) im surprised that more motor journalists havenāt got access or a test drive yet of the GTS when its landing ahead of the Cayenne.
What interior did you go for?
Yeh the options creates a constant circle of decisions - id love a hud (which comes on most cars these days) and maybe RAS but thats just short of extra £3000.
Just curious i see you went for lugano blue, great choice, did you take the free part glacier headlight & glacier tail strip? I...
Yeh the MY26 for RWD/4 was updated on the uk config about a week or so ago, I noticed that they added the lux package more recently - it saves you £654 if you were optioning everything on that list. The only thing i wasnt was matrix headlights so getting them at added for £240 would be worth it...
Yeh thats a fair observation- the sports design package is Ā£467 rather than Ā£3k - so thats a saving if youāre into more black gloss and darker features (which seems to be the GTS theme)
Just frustrating that those aero wheels cover alot of the red callipers otherwise i would of probably went...
Really good input thank you.
Rear Axle Steering isnt standard on any models, do you mean power steering?
Yeh agree a small mucky dog & kids munching in the back, the Race-tex is a definite no.
This will be my first Porsche and Im really glad they introduced brighter colour options with the...
Yep spot on!
If im going for the 4s, this gives me the ability to drop a few options that would like to have but i didnt feel were deal breakers and save a few pounds such as: matrix headlights, PTV & 18 way seats. Im fine with the 8 way seats actually.
Id be keeping:
Air suspension...
Thanks for the input.
Yeh ive heard the term sweet spot alot but Im diving into the finer details to make an informed decision- i would agree that the GTS will definitely a better ādrivers carā no doubt and thatās why its definitely in the mix and not the aero wheels or the front of the car -...
Yep spot on there! Thanks! The GTS doesnt give 20s as an option, whereas the Turbo does - so that explains it. If i decide to go for the 4s Iāll be taking 21s anyway.
Like you said im not sure about the looks of GTS vs the 4s - in particular the front. More black plastic cladding in the GTS.
Yeh agree, its still a tough decision im sure I wonāt regret either of these cars. I did find it interesting that the expected range is slightly less on the GTS than the Turbo - when the number starts creeping under 200 miles it becomes a concern.
The suspension configuration is supposed to be unique to the GTS - thats the whole point. Not sure what you mean by compatible with other models.
Yeh as i said by interior options its racetex with coloured stitching- which is a very expensive option and madness IMO for a lease. It starts...
