Today, once again, my wife and I were on the move (she’s the primary user). Only she had her own keys with her. The seat had to be adjusted manually again to her settings — even though in the PCM, I was listed as the active user? While driving, I switched the user to her, the system rebooted. I...
I totally get that the setting works the way you described. But in Audi and VW, it's much easier to use when you need it — you just select either the driver’s or passenger’s side with the mirror switch, and the mirror tilts or not… simple as that
Yeah, same here — there's no menu where you can choose the mirror tilt setting. Ours is a Macan EU model. Either way, that adjustment is way too complicated. It reminds me of the Taycan’s 'smart' air vent controls — also only accessible through the touchscreen :headbang:
In our Panamera, the keys were clearly linked to individual users, which worked well. But in both the Taycan and the new Macan EV, the system is honestly pretty terrible — we've noticed it in everyday use. We've had newer models from Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen, and in all of them the...
I reset the settings and redid everything according to the manual. It seems to be working now. However, I still don't understand where to enable or disable the mirror tilting — right now the mirror always tilts.
What determines the driver profiles? Are the settings stored in the keys, in the phone, or a combination of both? We're facing the same issue in our 2023 Taycan 4S TC. We've never been able to figure out what actually defines the driver-specific profile settings (in both the Macan EV and...
Where do you select whether the mirror tilts when reversing or not? I've owned the car for almost six months now, and I still don't understand the logic or the menu where you choose whether you want the mirror to tilt or not .
What’s also extremely annoying is that when switching from reverse...
