Prewired means you do not need to fuse tap BUT you do need to add 2 fuses based on the instructions from porsche. The fuses are left empty to disconnect the prewiring from the rest of the car.
Based on the instruction you will need 2 fuses, one in the footwell and one in the "fuse holder A (front end) (see page 16)". We still haven't located that fuse box, so if you do find it, please share it here! Or share any photos you can take during installation.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the heated windshield uses a silver coating inside the glass to transfer the heat. So the only visual occlusion is a tint effect that's caused by the silver.
Another forum user shared a picture of a heated windshield here if you want to take a look...
In the manual for the 2025 macan EV the only way to activate the heated windshield is to use the max front windshield button. In the manual for the 2025 macan ICE there are two ways to toggle the heated windshield mode.
There are other reports in this forum of people having issues with togging...
That person might have an issue with their RAS system (or perhaps forgot to option it?). RAS works even when stationary (turning the wheel all the way will make the back wheels turn as well).

The innodrive in macan is significantly better over what you get in the Taycan but its not perfect. See the link above...
By that logic Macan gets close to that number (398 WLTP 100->0 + 21 min charging 0->80 + 322 80->0 WLTP from charge = ~720 miles WLTP). It's all marketing.
Once Porsche gets access to the Tesla network the range concerns will no longer be an issue.
RAS - I did option that right away. I drove 2 macans back to back (where one had RAS and the other did not) and it was very noticeable. The car felt a lot smaller and more precise with steering.
PTV+ - I spent a lot of time going back and forth on this one. Ultimately I did not spec it because...
From everything I have seen in this forum: the only errors you should worry about are the persistent ones. If it haven't seen this error again after a power down it was likely a glitch!
True but they also tell you to verify the fuses in the "fuse holder for passenger compartment A-pillar on passenger". For that fuse box they are verify specific with the location.
In the picture I do see a hydraulic hose so I can see it being located somewhere in the frunk since a lot of the...
Has anyone come across the fuse holder A? Is this fuse box located inside the side panel of the trunk?
This is the only part of the prewired installation that I can't figure out : https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-11011672-0001.pdf

There is good instruction on how to remove the roof console to access the prewired connections. It's a guess but it looks very close to...
This is Gold! Now if we could also get a document for "0871900 Removing and installing trim panel for rear lid" so that I don't break one of the clips that would be great haha.
I live in a 4 season climate and wife was set on getting a rear wiper. I spec'ed everything else on the car so it was a good compromise.
If we never use it I will do a rear wiper delete and 3d print a plug to fill in the void.
