Awesome that you got it solved and thank you for posting the solution I wonder if the Wi-Fi hotspot is part of the PCM and got an update pushed OTA after the VR28 13. That might explain why it worked for a week.

Are you all scheduling appointments specifically for the update? Or asking for the update while the car is already in for a service. Wondering if there will be any pushback or fees for coming in only for the update

For older porsches, when getting an aftermarket spoiler, you'd pull the fuse for the spoiler to prevent it from extending. If you don't like it extended, you might consider doing that. You're in a bit of an experimental territory though, so do it at your own risk.
