It is true, Tesla Superchargers are now available to us. I was out so I went by and was able to use a Supercharger in downtown Palo Alto. I had to use the Tesla app to initiate charging as the charger did not start by plug and charge. Charging rate was 95 KW. I only charged for a few minutes...
Tim, thank you for posting the video on the Magic Dock, I had not seen one before. I found some photos of the chargers at the site in Jackson, CA where I charged and at least a couple of them have the Magic Dock so I must have just pulled the NACS plug out without the Tesla adapter and used my own.
An adapter was necessary since the charger only had the NACS plug! The guy with the KIA who was charging also used an adapter. Therefore, I believe this was not a Magic Dock charger.
I used a Tesla charger over this past weekend. Porsche navigation directed me this Tesla charger location in Jackson, CA. I was skeptical it would work but since I needed to charge I proceeded to the charger. I arrived at the chargers and, using my Lectron adapter, plugged in my Macan hoping...
You can certainly live without it but I find it very useful. It makes maximizing regen with breaking much easier. The augmented reality turning directions are great. And, just having your current speed on the road in front of you is very nice. I have set the optional switch on the steering...
I did not see this posted in the thread, maybe I missed it, but here is the documentation on VR28.11 software update

I have not found a solution that eliminates the vibration, but it is reduced by keeping the tires at higher pressures. At 44 psi it is not too noticeable but the ride is harsher so I'm currently running about 42 to 43 psi in all tires. I'm taking the car in on Monday for the recall and will...
Hey Jeff, yeah that might be fun but I not that intent on making my point. I will add though, that the drive coach I had at PECLA did tell me that my 4 would handle the same as the turbo I was driving there, except that mine does not have RWS. I'll look for you in the Santa Cruz mountains...
Your choice really depends on how you drive. If you sprint from light to light and want and can handle that extra push coming out of corners on a mountain road then get the 4S. I have had my 4 for 2.5 months and I find it has plenty of power to have fun in the hills, and even racing to the...
It is not a balance issue. It is a vibration felt at lower speeds not a shaking at high speeds. I will take it in and have a tech drive along. Thanks for your thoughts.
In the almost 6 weeks that I have had my Macan 4 there has been a persistent vibration in the cabin that is coming from the road. This vibration is felt by my foot on the accelerator, by my hand on the center console, and it even rattles my coffee mug, there is no noticeable tire noise. I...
