On the U.S. Porschefinder site, for the first time I have just seen 2026’s Macan be made. Only 4 as of yet, and all say “January,. 2026 delivery” — but at lesser a start.

Some options have been renamed, e.g., Innodrive has become “Drive Assist.”

I had never before driven any Macan EC other than a turbo (on test drives and our own). So with over a $31,000 MSRP price difference I expected a whole bunch of differences.

How wrong to think...
We saw last week a Hagerty video in which they measured it at 2.8 seconds in a comparison test with other EV’s. Here’s a fun one by Ian McAlpine. He says he got 2.95 seconds for his attempts.
Reflecting the following written statement that Porsche sent out to its U.S. dealerships yesterday, I noticed that between this morning and the last hour, that configurator pricing just now reflects that 3.6% increase. Here’s a restatement of that written Porsche statement to its dealerships.
Many of us were sorry that Papaya is gone. As red was a macan color since its first 2015 beginnings, though curiously missing on the EV, perhaps a replacement color (we hope there is one) for the 2026+ models might be a red? I hope so.

How much visual difference is there? Is there a lot of light-to-dark intensity distinction or does the turbonite on a seat belt looking fairly similar to black, e.g., looking a fair amount to just being a dye lot mistake. If anyone has turbonite seat belts and black seat, would you please post...
