If you would have asked me this question without me knowing it wasn't supposed to work in reverse in a perpendicular spot, I would have told you the only time my car has ever been parked with automated parking, it was done in reverse in a perpendicular spot by the sales guy. I'm sure he demoed...
You do not get pre-conditioning with ABRP premium.
Porsche recovery is included with the Macan EV but it is a true extremely bad outcome if this happens. My wife will never (not for a long time) let me take this car on another trip.
Interestingly, when I installed ABRP yesterday on a bunch of...
I'm about to start a 2,000 mile journey in the Macan EV and I finally took a few minutes to start to try some tools to help. Here are some first thoughts:
(1) I paid for an ABRP premium subscription to see what it's like. It looks really useful. I intend to use it during the trip. But I'm put...
During a q & a session during the conference, one of the Apple reps said that iPad OS 26 Smart Display on Passenger displays was a desirable scenario they would like to enable.
I have the new CarPlay installed on a test iPad and I futzed around to see if I could make it work on the passenger display and no go yet. I assumed it would require an update to the car's software but checked just for giggles because I really want this to work on the Passenger display.
I don't have ready access to the documents with the MF, but I did get a massive MSRP discount on a heavily optioned car. There were also nonsense dealer fees added to the car, but the net discount was almost $12k. The lease was substantially more expensive than the best deals seen in this group...
If you leave Fido in the car and you tell the car to keep the HVAC system on with the center screen at time of vehicle exit, doesn't the cabin monitoring system automatically turn off?
I ask this question because we do this all the time (minus the dog but with a person in the car) and the cabin...
People have commented about the rapid acceleration on the highway when adaptive cruise is set to 80 and you pull out from a line of cars that has slowed down. My wife used this experience as justification for saying she didn't want the turbo ... which made me laugh at the time.
As more evidence that owners struggle with this stuff for months, after reading your description, I still don't understand whether I actually want to change these settings or not.
Has anyone found a Youtube video for how to extract and use the sealant and tire inflator in the Macan EV? I'm looking for training material for my wife.
I have never yet managed to get this feature to work. But I've stopped trying. I'm waiting for my next dealer trip to ask them for a tech visit to teach me how to do it.
I haven't seen any technical data but don't you think the CATL batteries are just different modules in a very similarly laid out, modular battery pack?
I mean, I like the individual serviceability of the packs ... but I don't know what it costs to do out-of-warranty service on the pack yet. I...
I use ceramic coating and I have side panels painted in body color, but dirt seems to get lodged into the nooks around the side panels. It usually requires a detail brush to fully remove it. And our 22" sport wheels actually usually look pretty good, but they kick mud/dirt all over the body...
I'm really curious about the colors that are not a nightmare to keep clean. Our white car is a mud magnet and our friend's forest green turbo always looks equally as dirty.
I actually read the contracts when I bought my car and it pretty explicitly said they had the right to do this, so I assumed they were doing it. And I'm glad they're doing it. I would have thought it was malpractice not to do it.
The app message seems to change if you have a departure time set.
I intentionally played with the SoC limit to trigger it to charge and now to bleed a little energy on climate prep for a planned departure. The messages in the app differ from "charger not connected".
