    My supposed order

Considering all the costly options you’ve added to the 4S (PTV+, PASM...), the Turbo seems to be the one that fits your needs… you will just lose some range. I didn’t take the Burmester, and so far, I’m happy with the Bose. RAS is a must have IMO, it does change the way the car behaves. You...

    New software update

Porsche is Porsche: dealership must solve all the issues, even though those issues are invisible for the customer. So, with or without updates, if there is only one software issue (like a bad system fault which has no visible impact on the car ), they keep the car... I think this policy is too...

    Security Code

Is it related to your profile ? There is a way to disable this code. it’s in the car, but not sure where! Try touching your name on the top of the PCM, you will find somewhere a menu to disable the code. Not easy to find, as well as to remind, I’ve spent literally 1 hour to find the relevant menu!

Macan Turbo EV - best I ever had

@W1NGE Did you end up buying the Macan EV?

Extremely hot weather and Macan 4s

Not yet tried with the Macan EV, but with my previous EV, charging a hot battery under heavy external temps (40C and more) was not a problem, it was very fast and noisy (because of the Clim and fans keeping the ideal temp). Actually, it could be a problem when it’s very cold, it’s not when it’s...

Preventing the 12v Battery From Going Flat When Not Used For A While - Potential Work Around

We should make a poll to see if the Macan has the 12v battery issue, beyond specific Macans. So far so good for mine: 2 to 3 weeks staying on the parking lot, several times since november. Mine is parked underground, I assume it’s more efficient because there is no network incoming requests. On...

    HELP--STUCK ON LOADING ACCOUNTS

Did you try to park underground, where there is no 4g/5g signal? Close the door, leave the car alone for 5 minutes at a distance from the key, and reopen the car. I assume the pcm will detect the network is not available, and maybe, it will no try to connect to the account. Then, reset to...

Real consumption / range / efficiency thread … post your Macan EV performance šŸ“Š

No, this is not the way it’s designed, you’re wrong. Whatever the mode, when you brake, under normal conditions, the car is supposed to use regen to brake, and IF it’s not enough to decelerate, it uses the (real) brakes On top of the regen. Maybe you’re trying to troll me. In that case, it’s a...

@SteveInKirkland take a look on the picture above: SoC between 71% and 61% External temp was 15C, battery was 18C at the time of the tests.

Real consumption / range / efficiency thread … post your Macan EV performance šŸ“Š

@cottony So I did some tests today. Short answer: coasting mode is a crappy mode, at least on my Turbo. I’ve configured driver screen with the regen meter, and I’ve displayed on the central screen the energy animation with the car/battery/motors to monitor what happened. 1. Regen meter and...
