Electric Porscheās have been very popular with Company Directors over here. All three of the Taycan owners I know own their own business and have their cars via that, and my own car is funded by my husbandās business that Iām employed by, as my company car. There are a lot of tax perks, for now.
The poll is likely to be more skewed by the āage of your average car forum userā though. āOlder and wiserā usually means those with more experience know to search for and utilise forums like these before rushing off to Porsche with every little issue, plus younger generations tend to be more...
I suspect itās just a demographics/lifestyle thing - either of needing your kids to have left home before you can/want to spend Ā£100k on a car, which may naturally see you in an older age bracket; or if itās a company car for the electric benefits, youād need to be fairly successful in your line...
I noticed this on the first day of ownership - not so much the rattle, more so that it seemed more awkward to reach around and grab the buckle and I quickly noticed why. I wondered if it was just on my car too. Nope! For reasons unknown - it seems thereās one on the passenger side only š¤·āāļø
Iām not sure thatās a valid justification on the part of the manufacturers. Iāve been particularly frustrated at the poor quality, quite frankly dangerous safety systems of the Macan, particularly as they all worked perfectly 99.9% of the time on my etron Sportback, and as Porsche and Audi are...
I had planned to respond once my husband had received his new purchase and given it a test run. It only arrived yesterday and was set up this morning so I'll be able to give you a better review once it's popped out one of @cottony's inventions. Cottony - I am completely blaming you as the...
Thank you - you're a super star! Clearly my various combos of phrases just didn't hit the mark. Thanks for taking the time to point me in the right direction. It's appreciated :)
I donāt suppose you can point me to any can you? I have tried searching for missing image in app My Porsche car image, and various other phrases but canāt for the life of me find a relevant thread.
Ooh - thank you for reminding me! š I really should have tried there first š¤¦āāļø I did scan the top threads before asking the question, just in case it was a popular topic at the moment. Doh!
For no apparent reason my personalised Macan image has disappeared from the app (iOS) even though my husbandās car is still showing properly. On his app (Android) both of our cars show as they should. Iāve checked the settings and canāt find anything useful. Any suggestions?
I have a far less technical answer to the question - I just keep a screen cleaning cloth in my glove box and wipe any marks off when Iām stuck in traffic š I canāt say as I need a super expensive screen just to prevent me needing to do that lol
Exactly this. My husband had a Taycan Turbo S last year, and this year I have my Macan Turbo - both were company car purchases through our business. I was paying Ā£450 a month in company car tax for my diesel Q5 before swapping to an e-tron Sportback 2.5 years ago, with the princely sum of Ā£35 a...
I have the 22ā wheels - I also have the wheel and tyre insurance for that exact reason š I went through two tyres, one barely 2 months old, due to side wall damage with an unknown cause (I can only suspect potholes as the alloys hadnāt been curbed - Iām not that bad a driver lol).
Yeah - Iām signed up for alerts for both, even though the mats are already on order and paid for (with the main car purchase) at the dealer, but if I can get them before they can Iāll just ask for the dealer to refund me. Useful info about accessing them via a link though - Iāll keep an eye out...
Iāve been waiting for Porsche to get stock of the official boot liner. Iāve had the official all weather floor mats on order via my dealer since October (I got my car mid-November) and they are still out of stock too. Like you say - there are few alternative providers at the moment as itās such...
Cottony - I now have you to blame for my husband gleefully ordering himself a new and much upgraded 3D printer as our existing one couldnāt handle the cubby tray printing. He said to pass on his thanks š¤£š¤£š¤£
