I think the main one is not being able to monitor your prints remotely and stopping/starting it. I got around this by just using a webcam/ home security camera to monitor
But also as you said, itās pretty reliable so generally speaking thereās no need to actively monitor it
oh i'm sorry, i did see your post, but never got around to replying!
when i was researching printers, the 2 main options at the time were prusa and bambulabs. i'm sure there's more options now as the industry is fast-growing and changing, so take what i say with a grain of salt as the...
I disabled lane keep assist cause I also felt it was very sensitive.
My blind side monitor on left side has a lot of false positives (light on when the lane is empty or if Iām on one lane road or left most road) I think it happens exclusively at night.
one other issue I didnāt notice you post...
Youāre a homie for providing both types of units haha.
For the trip computer, my understanding is that it uses historical driving behavior as a parameter, so for press cars that you see in YouTube videos, by the time the reviewer gets the car, itās probably already been launch controlled to...
@tmrqs, does that card get you out of speeding tickets? I feel like itās inevitable Iām gonna get a speeding ticket lol.
In my Tesla I was totally fine going 80 on the highwayā¦ but in the Macan that just feels so sloooooooooooooooooooow š
Quick update -- the extender worked beautifully during my commute today! My seating position is more forward, so even though the extender doesn't extend across the entire window, I was satisfied with the horizontal coverage.
My ears did feel a bit hot though, so I'm going to try and squeeze a...
One thing Iāve noticed though is that with rear wheel steering it seems like itās harder to back into a parking spot ( (which is a common maneuver for ev charging) and be straight and centered
I find Iām almost always crooked or biased to one sideā¦could also be that Iām just a trash driver lol...
thanks for the idea! I think thatās an excellent alternative! An additional benefit is that it will have a flatter profile than a zip tie, which has a bump for the locking mechanism!
I really like it. Iāve been able to make some really tight turns in parking lots especially in those angled parking slots where Iām going the wrong way (pic below)
Also much easier to do U-turns on narrower streets.
Hi everyone,
I wanted to make a post sharing a fix I'm trying out for, what is in my opinion, one of the Macan EV's biggest comfort annoyances that doesn't really get talked about in this forum. Except for one post discussing this topic, I haven't really seen any other discussion about this...
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts! Itās been truly humbling to receive all the interest and feedback in my little side project! Thanks again!
Hi everyone,
Had some free time today to finally get around to prepping the designs for upload.
I won't re-post all the iterations, but wanted to share a honeycomb design I added that I think looks pretty cool
honeycomb: this is a modification on the base_tray for anyone looking for an edgier...
bro, you can justify getting a Porscheā¦but a 3d printer is where you draw the line?? š¤Ø haha jk, Iām just messing with you š
you should totally get one! I was never good at art or music or any of the other ātraditionalā avenues for creative expression so Iāve found 3d modeling to be a really...
just watched the carwow video and the math doesn't check out unless i'm missing something?
the polestar has 94kwh & achieved 3.5miles/kwh efficiency, so the range it got makes sense (94 * 3.5 = 329, which is +/- 4 miles of the actual range)
the macan has 95kwh and 3.5miles/kwh, so the expected...
@tmrqs thanks for giving me the idea of putting a kleenex box in the armrest storage and the subsequent inspiration of adding a passthrough for the kleenex! i just prototyped it out and it looks pretty cool! i think one improvement would be to add a slot/slide to cover up the passthrough hole...
Hi,
I had a question about automatic extending/retracting of the rear spoiler. According to the owner's manual, it says "The rear spoiler extends automatically when the vehicle exceeds approx. 35mph (55km/h) and automatically retracts when the vehicle falls below approx. 21mph (35km/h).
Should...
Hi everyone,
I wanted to write a post to share how I troubleshooted a rattle coming from my passenger door side and resolved it, in case this helps anyone else.
I noticed a rattling sound coming from the passenger side when I was playing music. First I played an audio sweep to try to identify...
