Macan EV won't select gear - Solved! (disconnecting the 12V battery)

The car worked flawlessly for the first two months but then wouldn't engage Drive or Reverse (only Park and Neutral). Charge at 80%, 12V at 14.6V and no warnings/error messages. No response to turning on/off, removing key etc. Called Porsche who wanted to tow it back to the dealer.

Problem solved by disconnecting the 12V battery by removing the negative terminal for 10 minutes. (Battery in frunk under plastic liftout panel). Engaged first go with no settings alterred. Must have reset the gear selector computer. Will now need to leave the appropriate-sized wrench in the Frunk in case it happens again away from home.

Negative terminal is on the right/Drivers (for US) side of the car. I believe it's accessible through the vent in the frunk. #2 in the diagram.
