By "mirror tap" I assume you mean the rain sensor wiring harness that terminates right above the mirror, and that the FitCamX dashcam for example can plug straight into.
Yes, I'm using this for my dashcam. Yes, the power turns off when the car is off.
There are wiring harness plugs that fit as...
FWIW, I also am experiencing the "pre-heat doesn't actually pre-heat the car anymore" problem since a couple of weeks. It's presumably some Porsche back-end/server-side problem?
But how do you make them match the color?
Everything is statistics. It might be that, normally, almost all cases are "within the curve" and work, but with some modification that "pushes the bell curve," some cases now fall outside the working parameters.
That being said, punching/cutting...
I would be much more for the sport sound if I could tune it myself, based on throttle/speed/steer/brake input signals.
I understand that there are Federal standards for the sound, but it's totally technically possible to verify that the "custom" sound would still conform to the Federal standards...
YES!!! This is one of the biggest ergonomics problem with the car.
That, and the fact that it either doesn't detect it's in a smart raise zone when turning on, OR if it does, it shows the icon but doesn't actually raise the suspension...
This used to work, and broke about a month ago.
It is likely a bug in the interaction between the phone and the car software.
All we can do is hope for a quick fix to roll out ... and maybe complain to Google and Porsche to make that go faster.
There are a couple of other threads about this on...
The logic is that you just get out, and walk away like Charlies Angels, and the car locks down itself.
It's different from previous cards, but honestly, it's how it should be! Kind of how Waymo robots pop out the handles when you walk up to them. The future is automated!
That bar is almost entirely performative display, kind of like airport "security."
When the HV battery is on, the battery charging circuitry will keep the voltage around 14.6 Volts, and when the HV battery is off, the battery itself will be at around 12.6 Volts, unless the battery has a low...
This is an awesome image and it will live rent free in my head from now on!
But, yes, this is how I get out, too. The button isn't needed. The only button that's needed is closing the "open/close lids" display so I can get back to the android auto music panel and stop it, else the phone will...
There is no reason for the US version to follow German laws. After all, Waze already tells you (as does regular Google Maps -- but the built-in nav does not.)
1. Cruise control maintains constant speed, so never regenerates power when letting foot off accelerator. Regeneration is crazy helpful. I see it daily when commuting in/out of NYC to work. I actually regain some battery used into work by way if not using cruise rather using my own foot on...
After Android Auto broke HUD integration, I've switched to the built-in navigator, but the path planning is a lot worse.
It's more likely to lead me into traffic, and it typically picks a slower path if it's even a little bit shorter.
But it's also more likely to zig-zag me up and down grid...
I've charged at that location before (if it's the Harrison 20-charger flagship location) and it charged a lot faster. It does seem like it's either something wrong with your car (try a different brand in a different location?) or EA is having some real constraints. If you glance at the charging...
