@pm4s — don’t count out the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires if you haven’t yet tried them. I ran a set on my g body 911 and found them to outperform (and outlast) the continental extreme contact summer tires they replaced. They came standard on our Macan 4 and, while we have far too...
@pm4s -- here in the US, tire manufacturers provide a UTQG Treadwear Rating for each tire sold. If you search for tires for your Macan EV on a us website, you can find the specific tire's UTQG Treadwear Rating. (I like to use tirerack.com -- here's a direct link to the 21" tires available for...
@krissrock Haven't (yet) noticed the spoiler issue you noted, but will pay attention to it on my next drive. Presumed our spoiler operates similarly to our Panamera's, raising at highway+ speed and lowering when city(-) speed reached.
As for the "power" button, agree -- and the owner's...
FWIW, the section of our owner’s manual entitled “stopping, parking and exiting vehicle” makes no mention of the power button and instead simply advises that one should press the park button and exit the vehicle. Instead, our owners manual indicates that the power button is used to manually...
Verdee: Do you have your Macan’s “Easy Entry” function activated? (This causes the driver’s seat to slide back and the steering wheel to angle up when exiting/entering the car). From your description of the issue, sounds like your climbing out of the seat is triggering the car to activate this...
FYI — our owners manual indicates that the power button is used to turn “operational readiness” on and off. Significantly, the owners manual also indicates that “If operational readiness is switched off, the previously selected [pcm and comfort] settings are automatically saved for the selected...
@pearson1995 -- does your Macan have all season tires or summer tires? Summer tires, as their name implies, are optimized for summer/warm weather use and can get very hard, unforgiving and "greasy" when the temperatures approach/drop below freezing. All season tires, while losing some of the...
Suspect that your issue stems from these tires being “N-spec” tires that are co-developed with Porsche for specific models — see, e.g. https://spokane.porsche.com/en/service/porsche-n-spec-tires-explained — these tires are available in their N-spec version here in the US...
Have really appreciated rear wheel steering on our Macan 4 in city driving situations — Per porsche’s website, 4 wheel steering reduces the Macan EV’s turning radius from 39.7 feet to 36.1 feet, which makes it a lot easier for it to turn around/manuver in tight situations.
